As it says in Tehillim 81
וַיַּאֲכִילֵהוּ, מֵחֵלֶב חִטָּה וּמִצּוּר דְּבַשׁ אַשְׂבִּיעֶךָ
“They should also be fed with the fat of wheat; and with the honey rock would I satisfy thee”
(Or at least, that’s how most people say it.)
The Wolf
I remember back in 7th grade. It was one of those days. The class was very farshluffen, no one was really into what was going on. Finally the rebbi says, “Is it Thursday today?” We responded why do you ask? He said “Because we say in Thursday’s shir shel yom ‘Sfas lo yadati eshma,’ and all I seem to be hearing from anybody today is lo yadati!!”
