I had a little difficulty keeping up there, losing a letter or two as well as Mr. Hangman’s leg at one point.

This is because I kept cutting-and-pasting from my previously displayed post, which may have been two or more letters old (i.e. you guess “L”, I display the “L” as selected, then you guess “N” and my previous display that I copy did not yet have the “L” selected, so it’s lost).

In the future I will IY”H keep score in a separate notepad window to prevent a recurrence.

Hope you don’t mind if I borrow one of your quotes, but “I’m not (that) stupid, you know”.

That “four bear aunts” line is not one I’d repeat in person to someone else, especially if the other individual had overripe fruit or vegetables handy, as it clearly would deserve “pun”ishment. 🙂
