Klal Yisroel lost a proper tzadik tonight. In my time in the Mir he was the mashgiach of the main Mirrer Yeshivah in Yerusholayim, and later was appointed Rosh Yeshivah in Mir Brachfeld.
I would love to hear any personal stories anyone has had about his tzidkus, ne’imus and temimus.

no he was the son of Rav Chaim Zev Finkel nephew of Rav Beinish Finkel.
Rav Nosson Tzvi zt’l was Rav Beinish’ son-in-law.
I remember seeing Rav Aryeh in the mercazi before selichos(3 yrs ago) and I told my friend we should go over to him and get a Bracha. He gave us the biggest warmest smile I ever received and wished us Hatzlacha for the year I was so shocked. From then on I would say he’s my good friend although thats prob an inappropriate title but he really acted that way to everyone who was in contact with him.What an amazing Tzadik. Baruch Dayan Ha’Emes.
