I have never heard this before, that bacteria leave residue on objects. And the doctors unanimously agreed to this? I think anonymously is more likely.
Funny that Dr. Youngster (is that really his name? na’ar?) should refer to a fantastic source, a paper he written himself.
Was there any comparison to any other commmonly touched objects if the amount of bacteria and dangers from those bacteria were greater or less that the mezuzah? The article is written is such a way as to infer that the mezuzah is more dangerous.
If nothing else, this is a poorly researched, referenced and written article, but then again, so many are.
