Do you mean growth hormones? They have some undesirable side effects, so doctors don’t give them without a complete workup first to check bone age and other factors.

Never took it, know someone who did. It worked.
It’s more important for boys than girls. Even at a very low dose, it can help the boy gain the 2 inches necessary to be anormal height. Better to do it younger than later.

Unfortunately GH shots are from the family of drugs that are abused (eg. athletes). Only to be taken under a doctor’s care, preferably an endocrinologist!
there have been cases of some body parts being slightly distorted. that is not the norm. it is a small small percentage. google it and look up some good medical facilities that practice in this field

i wish i was 5″1 I’m 4″11 and 3/4-
none of you girls are excessively short. Many frum people are short and as long as they are not extremely short it is not usually a big problem for shidduchim. short girls have a much easier time than very tall girls because they can easily date both tall and short boys and anything in between.

I like being short. It means I can marry anyone. Any guy who is short will automatically be tall to me and then I can marry a tall guy too. I love it!!
I’m 5’6″ and I love being tall. I feel bad for girls who are short because I know my short friends have a very hard time finding clothes that look good on them and don’t make them look dumpy even when they’re thin.
im also short but i hope im still growing!!
