Hi! I’m new to the CR but figured this would be a great way to track down this info – I am going on a trip to Israel and renting a car. Is there a gemach that loans GPS’s with Israel maps? I have a Garmin nuvi 765 but when I spoke to their tech support, they told me it’s not compatible with their Israel map. I’m not really interested in buying a new gps for a 3 week trip… any ideas?

Just a note about Israeli GPS. You have to be careful as they don’t differentiate between Jewish areas and Arab ones. My friends were almost taken through some very dangerous areas because they were just following the GPS. B”H a soldier saw them and stopped them. Make sure you ask someone who knows the area before following GPS directions in Israel.
