Not to be nasty but… please go and stop spamming this place.
Just a disclaimer – for those who felt I shouldn’t have been so harsh last night – I normally try not to be sharp on the CR, because most posters have already somewhat created an identity, and therefore even though technically it is an anonymous online forum, it still may constitute Loshon Horo to those familiar with the poster. But I don’t have such reservations regarding a new anonymous poster before people start to familiarize themselves with him.
Agreed. Perhaps add your ‘Aye’ to the Second Motion of the KTCRIM. Just a suggestion.
Is s/he an old poster? Sure sounds like it….I can understand everyone if it’s just an oldie playing a joke.
If s/he isn’t, I know it’s annoying, but I still think that the way people told him/her quite bluntly to leave was pretty mean. There’s a way to tell someone that you find their behavior irritating without saying it outright.

coffee addict – I wasn’t sure it was an old poster, being that s/he hasn’t been blocked yet. (Have a feeling it’s a she, for some reason.) Now you made me curious….so who is it?
I’ll check my posts again, but I definitely didn’t mean to tell the poster to leave – just to stop the fit of opening new threads. I can live and let live – if the poster writes all new posts – as much nonsense as you want – on a thread called “Gogogogogo”, which we can all ignore if we want to. But to push all normal threads down to replace with a zillion threads of one post each – sorry, it’s not on. He is welcome to come back, as long as posting is done in a civilized manner.
CA – I gave only four seconds of thought to it, but then I decided that I don’t want to know who it was, because it would give me an intense dislike for whoever else it was, and I don’t need that. I am happier without the knowledge!! One frightening thought that Poppa was behind it passed through my head, but I immediately banished it, because that reality would be too much to cope with. And anyway, if it was Poppa, he would have have managed to cause a lot more chaos!!

It could not have been ZK. And besides for all he’s worth, he was NOT annoying, I think. Never. In all the many, many posts.
He laid on a slight blithering, immature-ish face and tone, at times way too overheated in a discussion, but would never stam be annoying. Or purposefully mean.
I don’t get why you are all convinced that if it was a current poster, the moderators would know. Its incredibly easy to open up a new account with a new name and email, and no one knowing the difference. It does make sense that it was someone here who wanted to raise ruckus, being as it only lasted a couple of hours. I don’t think any real person would give up so easily. I didn’t see enough of the threads stayed by (a non committal to gender) it, so I didn’t see any if the references to earlier discussions. (I just skipped anything I saw started by it.) I must admit, it was extremely annoying.

I would just like to point out that if what GoGoGo did was run around, pushing good topics into obscurity, wasting peoples time with meaningless rubbish, needlessly start new, stupid threads and generally have a negative impact on everybody else’s CR experience, Patur Aval Assur did exactly the opposite on all those counts. And for that I’d like to thank him.

I think this whole thread isn’t nice.
Whether it’s someone or another doesn’t matter.
That someone is a Jew and we need to treaty them nicely. Nor is it nice to go around and accuse other users who are perfectly inoccent of being the first user. If the mods saw a problem they would ban the user.

I have to disagree with you there. Nobody was personal, or was in any any way unduly harsh. Everybody was simply requesting that they abstain from being a nuisance, and there is no question that they were being deliberately annoying. And as to your points about the Mods, that is exactly the point. Quite a few posters have made the point that they feel it is an abnegation of duty for those in charge of policing the forum, who generally do a superlative job, to allow this one poster to run havoc and ruin it for everybody else. Because those threads had to be approved. But you are right in saying that we shouldn’t go around accusing people, that is actually quite mean.
