January 16, 2012 12:20 pm at 12:20 pm #921096☕️coffee addictParticipantI have to give it to the giants, I’m very impressed in how they played last night.
It makes me worried though that it will be a repeat of 2008
January 16, 2012 2:43 pm at 2:43 pm #921097TheGoqParticipantA niners ravens superbowl would be cool brother vs brother.
January 16, 2012 2:51 pm at 2:51 pm #921098zahavasdadParticipantIs it Kosher to discuss the play that the Giants scored on the last play of the First Half

January 16, 2012 3:48 pm at 3:48 pm #921100TheGoqParticipantVery funny Zahavasdad!
January 16, 2012 3:56 pm at 3:56 pm #921101BTGuyParticipantGiants are lucky, is all.
Next year, iy”H my team should have Peyton Mannin, so NY’s real team should have back to back Super Bowls. lol
We will probably see a 49er and Patriot Super Bowl, where 49ers have a great chance to pull off an upset.
January 16, 2012 4:38 pm at 4:38 pm #921102☕️coffee addictParticipantZahavas,
Just change the second word to Miriam
January 16, 2012 6:58 pm at 6:58 pm #921103writersoulParticipantI’m not a sports fan, but my dad is.
Yesterday the Giants won.
Today we’re getting ice cream.
I wonder if there’s any correlation?
January 16, 2012 7:21 pm at 7:21 pm #921104TheGoqParticipantYes there is a connection all the dairy farmers in Wisconsin are so depressed that the Packers lost that they are slashing their…….. prices now your dad can afford the ice cream.
January 16, 2012 7:42 pm at 7:42 pm #921105writersoulParticipantGoq: LOL! I never thought about it from that angle before.
In a similar scenario in my (NY) area, my teacher, an avid Jets fan, showed up a few weeks ago and told us, “The Jets lost. Count on a HARD midterm.”
The midterm’s tomorrow. I’m scared.
January 16, 2012 7:50 pm at 7:50 pm #921106TheGoqParticipantWritersoul wear an extra extra extra extra large sweater vest and headphones and put them on if the test is too hard, your teacher will think your Rex Ryan and pass you anyways.
January 16, 2012 9:57 pm at 9:57 pm #921107skiaddictMemberCrazybrit did u say anyone but man u????? u out ur mind mate?
January 16, 2012 10:52 pm at 10:52 pm #921108☕️coffee addictParticipantWritersoul,
You can do that or alternatively say that your going to ace the test and that the test is going to be easy and the teacher will still think you’re rex
January 17, 2012 12:53 am at 12:53 am #921109iBump 2.0Participantyes shticky, the last iBump did get “bumped” out of here (hence the 2.0), but for no reason at all. i tried to contact the management to fing out why i got blocked, but was met with silence!!
my frustration with the the management caused me to decide to stop posting. the Giant’s win put me in such a good mood that i decided to start again, but after that welcome, i’m not so sure…..

Hi iBump 2.0. iWas puzzled when you went last time. iDidnt notice anything particularly wrong on your part. iWas only saying that iWas suprised to see you again so hi to you and welcome back iBump! iHope you last longer than last time and iLook forward to seeing many more old posts bumped but also some new posts and ideas from you. Did iExplain myself clearly or should iRepeat myself? My grandmother always said to be cautious of things that go bump in the night. But iDont know if she ever met you. See you around!
January 17, 2012 7:01 pm at 7:01 pm #921116DJHockerMemberGMEN are playing legit ball but the teams theyve been playing all had very good qb’s and were known for theyre offense. San Fran is the number one ranked defense in the NFL.
Eli has to stay sharp all game and JPP and Co will have to stop Frank Gore, Crabtree and Davis. GMEN do indeed have a big shot at winning because look at how close the Saints came to beating them AND they turned the ball over 5 times. Giants Ravens Superbowl would be great as the Giants would seek revenge for year 2000 but lets take it one game at a time. Lets beat San Fran. BLEED BLUE
January 17, 2012 7:54 pm at 7:54 pm #921117☕️coffee addictParticipantBLEED BLUE
only if youre cold blooded
but seriously you’re rooting for two underdogs (the ravens are 1-6 vs the PATS)
January 18, 2012 4:37 am at 4:37 am #921118Burnt SteakParticipantDJHocker first of all you should know that the 49ers were only 2nd in overall defense (behind the Steelers) they are #1 against the run.
49ers are not to be overlooked. They have an excellent run game and an average passing game. They are one of the most consistent teams in the NFL and only lost once at home.
The Giants are very inconsistent. Eli Manning is going to get hit a lot more than he did in the first 2 games because 49ers d-line is much better than Falcons or Packers. If he doesnt have time to throw then he can’t make good passes and go back to throwing Interceptions like he did in other seasons.
Last point is that the 49ers already beat the Gaints in week 10 at home 27-20 im picking 49ers Pats Superbowl
January 19, 2012 2:42 am at 2:42 am #921119iBump 2.0Participantglad you clarified that shticky, to quote you… iUnderstand

January 23, 2012 8:33 pm at 8:33 pm #921122BTGuyParticipantHi Burnt Steak.
You are right on all counts.
And the Giants are one of the luckiest.
It’s not because they dont have great players, they do. But as a team Eli’s stats are highly
puzzling because on the field he looks average at best. He also has the best stats for throwing
the ball into the stands.
There are a lot of great times out there. The Giants going to the Super Bowl is kinda funny.
January 23, 2012 11:12 pm at 11:12 pm #921123DJHockerMemberBLEED BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS STOMP THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS BEAT BRADY………….WAIT FOR IT……………………………………………………………………AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Hi, @BTGuy)
January 26, 2012 7:24 pm at 7:24 pm #921124BTGuyParticipantWell, well, well… Looks like Peyton Manning is very unhappy with Indianapolis.
Perhaps he may want to consider playing up in the Jersey/York area like his brother.
If so, Giants fans (DJHocker and Company), we are looking at back to back, minimum, Super Bowl wins for the Jets starting immediately with the SB after this one (b’lee neder)…lol
Speaking of the Giants trail of amazing, incomparable, luck, legendary sportscaster Warner Wolf said there is the jinx of Sports Illustrated, whereas the team who has a player make it’s cover before the Super Bowl, always loses.
Much to the favor of Giants fans, Tom Brady was put on the cover of SI.
We shall see, DJ. But for “oh 13”, it’s the Jets all the way, IF they can trade off Sanchez.
Good luck to the Giants and Eli Mannchez. It should be a great Super Bowl!!
: D
January 26, 2012 11:19 pm at 11:19 pm #921125DJHockerMemberTHE GIANTS HAVE BEEN TO THE SUPERBOWL THIS DECADE 3 TIMES, NO NFC TEAM MADE IT MORE THAN ONCE. OUCH TO YOU @BTGUY, GIANTS OWN THE CITY. BLEEED BLUE AND LETS GO GIANTS BAAAAAAAABY!!!!!
January 26, 2012 11:27 pm at 11:27 pm #921126☕️coffee addictParticipantThat just shows how bad the nfc is (not how good the giants are)
January 26, 2012 11:36 pm at 11:36 pm #921127postsemgirlMemberI’ll root for anyone who beats the Green Bay Packers!
January 27, 2012 2:44 am at 2:44 am #921128Josh31ParticipantThe Patriots were Zocheh to end the ??? ??? for this year.
We do not know if ravens participated in the 4th plague, but the locusts of the 8th plagues were definitely ravenous.
January 27, 2012 10:25 pm at 10:25 pm #921129Josh31ParticipantIn the Torah community when someone very Choshuv (respected, prominant) passes away, a siyum HaShas is arranged among many participants.
When the owner’s wife of the Patriots passed away, the equivalent in the world of football had to be done.
Nothing less than the Superbowl is fitting.
January 31, 2012 2:25 am at 2:25 am #921130☕️coffee addictParticipantBTGuy,
I think SI actually wants the Giants to win because of that
from wikipedia,
January 8, 2012: The Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers appears on the cover as the 2012 NFL playoffs begin. The Packers lose to the New York Giants at home, 37-20, and Rodgers has a quarterback rating of 78.5.
January 22, 2012 – The San Francisco 49ers were featured on the cover of SI for January 23rd, They subsequently lost in overtime to the New York Giants 20-17.
and now Brady
January 31, 2012 8:53 pm at 8:53 pm #921131govoah the best campMemberi heard the reason why the giants are gonna win the superbowl bec the siyum hashas is at met life/giants stadium lol GO GIANTS!!!!!
February 1, 2012 3:48 pm at 3:48 pm #921132BTGuyParticipantI have to admit that I think, and I may be wrong, that the JianTS may pull it off.
But since the JETS had back to back playoff championships the last two years, and played much better than the JianTS, ANY new quarterback for the JETS should result in back to back Super Bowls for ’13, and ’14, if not more. lol
In either case, it should be a great bowl game as long as Eli does not keep throwing into the stands.
February 1, 2012 5:10 pm at 5:10 pm #921133☕️coffee addictParticipantGavoah you sound like my brother in law,

February 1, 2012 11:23 pm at 11:23 pm #921135iBump 2.0Participantbtguy:
whoa, whoa, whoa,!!!
hold on a second here!!
since when have you been calling the GIANTS the JianTS???
i can understand rooting for them, but going so far as to find parts of the jets name (and changing a letter there) is going too far!
if you want, 🙂 I’ll 🙂 let you root for them , but DONT go around calling them the “JianTS”!!
thank you for your cooperation.
🙂 Bump 🙂
February 2, 2012 5:03 am at 5:03 am #921136Josh31ParticipantAfter facing the Brady Bunch the Giants will feel like the ants.
February 2, 2012 4:54 pm at 4:54 pm #921137BTGuyParticipantHi DJ Hocker.
lol… So I take it you are rooting for the NY Midgets. lol. Well, I really think it is going to be a great Super Bowl even though the JianTS may get lucky. IF they win…and that is a BIG IF, it will be luck. Just know I will be watching each time Eli Mannchez hurls the ball into the stadium and throws an interception.
Hi ibump2.0.
But I am rather proud of myself for coming up with the spelling of JianTS. lol. So “Midgets” fans take offense? Hmmm..lol
I do think the Giants can win. They seem better balanced because of their receivers, defense, and Bradshaw. Most of all, they look tougher on the field. I think they can do it. In any case, I think this may be one of the most watched Super Bowls..it should be a great one. Falafel chips and humus are on deck. lol
