Gezel Akum has been used by posters to justify a number of actions. Can anyone cite a 29th century halachic source amd a living posek who supports it?
If you know of a 29th century halachic authority, would you please tell me this coming week’s winning lottery numbers as well as the exact time for the coming of Moshiach.
Gezel akum is assur. (No one argues or disputes that or claims otherwise.) But for different reasons than gezeila. It is different aveiros. In fact, ipso facto once someone wrongfully engaged in gezel akum, he isn’t mechuyiv al pi halacha to return it.
The Gemora (not sure where) comes out that gezel akum is assur. However, it is a completely different aveira than gezel mi’yisroel, and is more meikel in many ways.
