Chatty — what a terrific story. Even if it is an urband legend (and who knows, really???), it illustrates the idea that helping someone can literally save your life. Look at all the stories of people who did NOT die in the Twin Towers, because they came to work late that day, due to being detained while helping out a family member etc.

This fancy full-of-herself girl is no teacher really. She runs a baby-sitting group in her parents’ basement. To make herself feel good, she calls herself a “teacher” so of course if you knew which school she works for you’d know her name cuz she’s the only “staff memeber”! LOL!

I think he meant his CR wife and baby, otherwise how could rusty wake them? You can continue to read him in real-life.

charlie – she mentioned she works there BEFORE YW posted the story. She didn’t know it was coming. She mentioned she teaches ivrit b’ivrit, is 21, speaks (”sometimes”) with an Israeli/Sefardic havara, mentioned (in the ashkenaz/sefard thread amongst others) her family background. The game IS over.

But sorry about blowing your cover. You admitted to working there before anyone knew the story would hit the presses. Now the gigs all up. You’ll have to drop out of the CR like ‘dont have internet’ after her cover was blown. In the interim I think I’ll ask my sister to stake out Shaare Torah on Ocean and Church to get a photo of the 21 year old ivrit be’ivrit teacher. She can ask around providing your apt family description you’ve provided over the past 2 months, that should narrow it down to fit just one eccentric.
