Boy, did you dangle that participle!!!!!!!! Yes, there are always regents given in August. There is summer school, you know. Some students are not prepared sufficiently to take them in June, and some do not pass and must take them over, whether or not they take the summer classes. I went to summer school one year, having not passed the bio regents(though I did well int he class, otherwise
). I could have just taken the test over, but elected to go to summer school and re-learn the material. I discovered that my previous teacher really was AWFUL, because in just a few short weeks I had learned enough not only to pass, but to excel on the regents. I only lost one two-point multiple choice question, and it was a toss up between two choices(I chose the wrong sevara).Never OVERthink in Science.

mepal: if it says ‘gebaken nuch pesach’, means it was baked a week after pesach! cake is like 3weeks old or so! but it was in the freezer, so should be ok!
