I have a Gefilte Fish story. A local store had a lot of extra canned Manischewitz Gefilte Fish to give away, so they donated it, but the donators had no idea what to do with it either, so they gave it all to my most local shul, who then gave it all to me.
I now have Gefilte Fish forever!
