We’re having sushi for dinner tonight – challah, soup, shushi, a vegetable, salad, and dessert.

I’m excited – Friday night sushi has returned to our home!

No rule that says the seuda/Shabbat meal/dinner must be fleishig. I think everything is parve but using fleishig utensils.

toi, and what is the translation of seudah?

You sound like a kindergarden kid.

Do you also not have weddings but chassunas, levayas and not funerals?

My bad – we used chalavi utensils – and we had Cinnabon for dessert.

Sushi works very well for entree being a fish entree, followed by chicken for main course.

Have consumed this menu numerous times @both Shabbos & Yom Tov seudos.

You do not have to have fleshing for a sedudah.Frankly I dont really care for chicken, there is not mitzvah to eat it

How could SUSHI be bad for your skin?? It’s fish and vegetables!!!!

And I am not a sushi fan at all.

I guess you didn’t read the OP – sushi was the main course – there was no chicken, nor was there turkey, nor was there any red meat.

I have also consumed sushi as as the main course, but on 1st nite of Shovu’os; This is the only Yom Tov which cannot commence on a Friday nite, and this topic specifies a Friday nite, hence I did not mention Shovu’os nite in my 1st comment to this topic.

    Sushi is fish and vegetables?

Go look up the definition of sushi – it’s a rice dish that can be made with fresh fish, cooked fish or vegetables. The word sushi comes from the Japanese word for rice.

Challa- it’s not so hard, there are many tutorials online and the supplies and ingredients are easily bought in many supermarkets.
