Hey I found a pair of tefillin and a tallis in a blue suede bag with gold trim the name on the bag is יעקב ביטון Yaakov Biton it was found in the Vancouver airport (YVR) if you know anyone with this name please contact them to see if they are missing their tefillin please help me fulfill the mitzvah of Hashavas Aveida and lets get him back his tefillin

Once again, I’ll make the point that everyone should have an index card in their tallis and/or tefillin bag with their contact information. It would make posts like this unnecessary and allow for the lost items to returned to its owner much more quickly.

The Shliach to Downtown Vancouver is Rabbi Binyomin Bitton.
Chabad Tallis and Tefilin are quite easy to identify, there would normally be Rashi and Rabbeinu Tams Tefilin, and they would be large Battim. The Tallis would have no Atarah, just silk lining on the inside.

The Chabad Shliach in Vancouver, Rabbi Bitton has been contacted about this, it’s not his, nor does he know who it might belong to.
