I was zoche to trace a rumor about someone to the source and BORUCH HASHEM restore someone’s good name.Thank you,Hashem!!
I know…but this was imPORtant!!
I sort of try to do this if possible. When I hear an outrageous statement made about someone, I ask the person, “who told you” and they usualy say, “uh, I don’t remember, but thats what I’ve heard”
That’s how I (try to) I stop the rumor from spreading. I may not be able to retrieve it completely, but at least I stopped the spread and I made the person stop and think for a moment about repeating it without verifing the accuracy of the info.
Rumors grow wings, and if not clipped, they fly.

At one time, I used to care what people said about me. But now the damage is done; my wife is gone awhile. So I don’t care personally, let them do what they want. Everyone eventually has to give a Din V’cheshbon and I definitely don’t want to be in their shoes!
i once said something cuz i misunderstood someone and when the person tried to trace back they were able to but the way it was done was extremely disgusting to eclipse when u try to do things plz plz do not degrade anyone or make them feel horrible many times when things are passed over the story changes a bit
so becareful when tring to fix someone elses name u dont hurt someone elses feelings

everyone should have a friend like you eclipse i’ve been a subject of lashon hara my whole life its been very hard to get past it sometimes, also what hurts is when people can seemingly say loshon hora about you in your presence but seem to think your too stupid to realize it.
I cant quite explain why i’ve been the target of peoples unhealthy interest but it has always been the case from school to work it has been a constant in my life, most recently it was my coworkers who spoke behind my back on a daily basis it was very hard but i have forgiven them and now our relationship has improved, they spoke ill of me but me letting go of my anger was what enabled our relationship to improve dramatically.
