“nOmesorah -“He thoroughly answered your question”

    He did NOT!
Here it is again -“who ordered The First Combat troops to Nam?!?”
Do you have a problem with English Comprehension?”

You have a problem with honesty. You hadn’t asked that question in the post I answered, n)mesorah validated that I answered your question. nOmesorah has excellent English Comprehension.

I don;t read minds, I can only answer what appears in a post, not in your mind,

nOmesorah -“If i find one or three, I will let you know.”

You don’t have to exert yourself!
There were Many that the Riots stopped within 3 weeks.
I’m sure it had a lot to do with the Deployment of the National Guard.

“I do not know any cities that the National Guard stopped the riots ‘real quick’.”

I consider 3 weeks -‘Real Quick’!

    Dear Health,
You could just make up history to assume you had a valid opinion. Had I known your criteria of real quick was three weeks, I could have been more helpful. Though it is worth mentioning that the National Guard was not called to Harlem and the violence subsided in less than a week.

nOmesorah -“You could just make up history to assume you had a valid opinion”

It seems that you are the One that Makes up everything & expects e/o to believe you!
My OP on this topic was Correct.
I wrote they brought in the National Guard & it stopped real quick.

“Though it is worth mentioning that the National Guard was not called to Harlem and the violence subsided in less than a week.”

Do you actually think, in Most Cities, that it would have Stopped w/o the NG?
You live in a Liberal Dream World!
From the -“theGuardian” about the 1968 Riots:
“In many instances the National Guard was required to quell the violence.”

    Dear Health,
1964 Harlem is considered the first riot that drew national attention. The National Guard is not a good tool to quell violent class struggles. As far as I discovered in the past week, the race riots of the sixties only got worse with the involvement of the National Guard. I could keep looking until I find some that fit with your take.

    Dear Health,
Having been in a riot, I could tell you they eventually run out of steam. Either, there is nothing left to destroy or people have to go back to work.

    OVERRULED

Health is ordered to sop badgering the witness.

You realized after I answered that the question you asked is not the one you wanted answered…that’s how novices lose cases. 40 years in I don’t fall for those traps. I;ve moved on to the next case

    You still don’t get it!
    I posted this above:
From the -“theGuardian” about the 1968 Riots:
“In many instances the National Guard was required to quell the violence.”

    Do you understand this Sentence?
Or you Have NO Reading Comprehension?!?

    Dear CTL,
If you can please help me show some support for Health. I am trying to find a race riot during the sixties, that was stopped by the National Guard. It would have to be done in less than three weeks to adhere to the term ‘real quick. And it could not have escalated due to the arrival of the National Guard. If there was no case that fits the criteria, I am allowed to invent one.

I don’t need to invent one, I just proved it from a newspaper article!
You seem to invent things to validate your opinions.
    Eg.:
“As far as I discovered in the past week, the race riots of the sixties only got worse with the involvement of the National Guard.”

    Dear Health,
Chas V’shalom that I would accuse you of making it up. My point was we could invent a case just to hear your point. Maybe it was to compare it to today. [In Minneapolis Police Brutality riots of 2020, the Police were accused of escalating protests (True or not, I do not know.) The National Guard was called in, and the riots dissipated.]
Back to history. Every race riot that I found in the early to mid sixties, only got worse with the involvement of the National Guard. Watts, Detroit, and Newark. The only instances of success was during the Holy Week Uprisings. But mainly in the rust belt cities. Other cities (Washington D. C.) where total disasters, or simply (NYC) avoided any uprising, by the white mayor going out and declaring that the murder of MLK was wrong.

nOmesorah -“Every race riot that I found in the early to mid sixties, only got worse with the involvement of the National Guard. Watts, Detroit, and Newark.”

So you’re saying that since you found 3 cities that this is False – From the -“theGuardian” about the 1968 Riots:
“In many instances the National Guard was required to quell the violence.”
There were over 100 cities involved in rioting.
The facts are the Guardian article is correct.
Who are you trying to convince, Besides yourself, that You are RIGHT – NO MATTER WHAT?!?

    Dear Health,
No, I found five cities that you were correct about. All in one week.
