I have tried both the Cuisinart and the Hamilton Beach 14-cup models of food processors but none of them ground the food into a puree form(there were still big peices left). Does anyone have another 14-cup machine that worls well, Or should I settle with a 10-cup eventhough it is inconvenient when cooking for K’ah a large family?

Are you using a blade or a disc? If you are using the blade, maybe try cutting the food into smaller pieces (quarter potatoes instead of one cut down the middle). I’m not sure if it would make a difference but its worth a shot.

    Good luck!

Thanks but I already tried this and it doesn’t seem to help. Any other tips?

I have the Braun, and so do my siblings, parents, friends, etc… It’s supposed to be best. And no, I’m not hired to do their marketing!

Nothing tops the Braun, in all respects, and their sealed bowl, is the best design in the world (I process liquids and the others spill all over the place).

I don’t have the Braun, but I’ve also heard it’s the best food processor.

I use a 12 cup Kitchen Aid and I’m really happy with it.

I find the kitchen aide to be heavy and hard to lug around. I have a bosch for baking and love that too.
