A big yasher koach to Oorah for their new Fiveish car magnets! We all know the story of the non-Jew who keeps a kippa in his glove compartment for when he’s stuck on the road. The Fiveish magnets (like the Cucumber ribbons before them) are a great way to identify a frum car.
Recently, someone was in an accident and pulled over to the side of the road. Two frum people stoppped for the car because of Fiveish.
Keep one on your car! It can come in handy…

if you have the yicholes and time to help someone it shouldn’t matter if he has a feivish sticker or not

in defense of OP i don’t think he was advising what people should do, only how to take advantage of what some will do.

March 20, 2012 2:34 pm at 2:34 pm #861352popa_bar_abbaParticipantIch hubt a “Shmooz” magnet on mein car. I think I’m the only one within 100 miles.
March 20, 2012 3:01 pm at 3:01 pm #861353☕️coffee addictParticipantNitpicker,
The story is disgusting
Miritchka,
Only if it had flavoring and cy milk in it and NO I WOULDN’T because I don’t know a thing or two about cars
Actually you made me think of an important question
Should I stop my car and because I’m a member of AAA help this guy by saying its my car
March 20, 2012 3:35 pm at 3:35 pm #861354ItcheSrulikMemberFiveish saves, Rabbi Mintz invests 😉
March 20, 2012 4:06 pm at 4:06 pm #861355squeakParticipantThe magnet says “the shmuz” (not smooz). Every time I see it I think it says “THE SHMUTZ”
March 20, 2012 4:18 pm at 4:18 pm #861356bygirl93Membercoffee addict- i don’t think it’s disgusting at all!! think about it- a lot of people would stop- but lately there have been lots of stories of people being hijacked because they stopped to help someone- if this was at night- he would have been crazy to stop- but since he was able to identify the car as a Jew’s he knew there would be no danger in stopping!!- it doesn’t really matter that it was fiveish- it could have been jep, simcha, the shmooze- or any of the countless schools and camps that make these magnets!!!
March 20, 2012 5:13 pm at 5:13 pm #861357HealthParticipantMagnets are a waste of money!

March 20, 2012 6:12 pm at 6:12 pm #861359☕️coffee addictParticipantWow,
I’ve never heard these stories
March 21, 2012 1:50 pm at 1:50 pm #861360bygirl93Memberwell unfortunately it happens- that’s why if you see a car on the side of the road at night in a secluded area you should not slow down and you should call 911 and see if anything has been reported and have them send help for the car- and i am not just saying this- i have been told this by many people- cops, hatzala members, and lawyers who work for the state said that there are many stories like that- baruch Hashem not many were Jews! and most happen in out of town places like the Catskills etc. Also if a cop car tries to pull you over at night you are allowed to not stop as long as you call 911 or the police precinct (if you know it)and give them the place and car number- they will radio the car that you won’t stop until you reach a more populated area- its 100% allowed- there have been cases of a cop off duty- or a stolen cop car- unfortunately this is the times we live in that we have to be careful about helping someone!!!
