Is it easier to get in?

    Is it more fun?

    Is it more interesting?

Are there multiple hashkafos presented to choose from? Is that a good thing?

Are the girls more worldly? Are they modern?

What other questions should I be asking?

You missed the most important question. How does it affect shidduchim?

Aw, how disappointing. I was an FFB in a BT seminary and I thought someone *really* had a question.

I would seriously like to know the answers to all of these questions. 🙂

    And there’s your chance, Syag.

Is it easier to get in?

No, it was much harder actually. It was unprecedented and they were wondering if it would be a good idea.

    Is it more fun?

No, it was harder. For some reason the girls thought that because I was born frum, I was probably an expert at it. HA

    Is it more interesting?

Nothing to compare it to but it was very interesting. I came from an MO lifestyle and could not FATHOM why anyone would ‘leave it all’ to become frum. I once made everyone sit around a table and tell me what made them decide to become frum. It was the most effective jump start my neshama ever had.

Are there multiple hashkafos presented to choose from? Is that a good thing?

No. The school had a derech. They were informed and educated on others way but presenting it as a self-serve cafeteria isn’t always productive in the beginning stages.

Are the girls more worldly? Are they modern?

The girls were more “worldly”, but they were not more complete. One was a banker in Hollywood and had lots of stars as customers. I found that more exciting than she did. They had experienced more and felt empty still. To them it was more proof that the outside world wasn’t the “real world”.

What other questions should I be asking?

“did you find them to pull you down spiritually?”
