Felt so much better without Challa over all those YT meals. Anyone else feel the same? What’s the solution with having Challa every Shabbos? Any ideas appreciated…

I feel better without challah too, which is why I do not eat it. But I don’t know if that is a solution.

    How about making mini-oat challot?

Is it the wheat or gluten? Or grains in general and yeast?

I don’t know how many people you share Shabbos meals with, so that may be a factor in how to manage challot on Shabbos.

Is there a rule that you must consume a certain amount of challah on Shabbos?

    1. Eat less challah
    2. Continue to eat matza

You dont have to have challah, you can have any kind of bread as long as its whole

Personally I actually use a bagel

Because wheat grown for Matzah (or rather vice-versa, wheat fields selected for Matzah) is monitored closely for moisture and perfect harvesting time, in addition to optimal storage and more precautions taken — especially Shmurah Matzah — mold that may be present in regular wheat/flour is not an issue. This may be an overlooked part in regular bread/Challah that people may have issues/intolerance from. It’s also good to know when comparing to chometz’dig Matzah.

But it’s not a once size fits all cure, just something to experiment with — and don’t forget about yeast, eggs sugar etc. that are not included in Matzah.

Good luck, and may we all be well and feel well.
