    Did people use the Kal Tzsom Fasting Tablets (sp?) to help them Fast for Yom Kippur,and did it help?

    My sister told me she used them and they helped alot. I have never tried them, but BH I fast well and dont need them.

    I usually take the Kali Tzom and I do believe it helps me fast better. Not proven though!

    Even if its psychocological its better than nothing.

    I used Arcoxia, a painkiller that is similar to Celebrex. It works. You can’t get it in the US but you can in EY, where the research was done into using it to prevent fasting headaches.

    reb shlomo zalman is against taking them if you do not need them (halichos shlomo) I personally believe them to be placebos

    Some people take caffeine suppositories ON Yom Kipur. It’s not called eating.

    I used Celebrex, a painkiller that is a NSAID. It works. You can get it in the US with a prescription.

    moi aussi -I heard these shouldn’t be taken on YK unless you have to. Ask your LOR!
