A few days ago, YWN posted about the petirah of R’ Rubin zt”l (http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=158175).
Unfortunately, R’ Rubin had cancer as a child. Although he beat the cancer, it did leave one lasting impact: no life insurance company would write a policy for him. Now his almanah is left with the burden of supporting herself and their 6 children on her own. A fund is being set up o help them out.
