TheGoldenkint,
I fully agree, these people just want to start trouble and that’s why they’re doing it
I saw a bumper sticker once that said “good girls don’t make the news” (or something like that)
The same applies here (only the abnormal people are in the news)
December 30, 2011 12:14 am at 12:14 am #840876HealthParticipanttahini -You’re living in some dream world. I never realized the hatred the MO’s had to the Charedim, till now. Even I’m shocked at some of these posts. Eg. People calling s/o who spit -a pedophile. Sorry, this comes from deep down baseless hatred!
December 30, 2011 12:19 am at 12:19 am #840877HealthParticipantgoldenkint -“if it was about Torah and Torah values the hoooligans in bet shemesh would be sitting in beis medrash. and their wives would be starting joint bikur cholim and chessed organizations with their neighbors to be mekarev them if they so chose. its all a big bluff. i know so many chassidshe andchareidi families that are mekarev and host people even if their hair isn’t covered the way they hold. and it is mekarev!”
And who says they don’t do all of this?
“you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.”
That’s your mistake; they aren’t doing this to Mekarev anyone.
That isn’t the purpose of the protests!

lololololol
Sorry, I had to.
December 30, 2011 9:53 am at 9:53 am #840879goldenkintMemberhealth ,if you know the purpose of the protests ,please enlighten us. all i see is chillul Hashem. What do they want ? to start a civil war, and have brother against brother? if the SAtmar Rov could invite me to his house and my mother was not covering any of her hair then, then that goes to show that these people are all provocateurs and they have an agenda. i can’t see what kosher agenda they would have. they can move to a complete closed community and build tall walls and not have to see anyone different if they so choose. but the dat leumi community was in existence when they purchased their homes. and according to the video i saw they just stand around waiting for people to pass by so they can harrass them.
personally ,i think that a law should be passed which makes loitering in front of schools and playgrounds illegal for anyone who has no legitimate business to be there. bli kesher to the protests.
January 2, 2012 1:41 am at 1:41 am #840880HealthParticipantgoldemkint – Purpose of protests – There is a reason and s/o needs to start a topic about it.
“they can move to a complete closed community and build tall walls and not have to see anyone different if they so choose.”
And what do you think Meah Shearim is? They just won’t leave the Charedim alone!
“but the dat leumi community was in existence when they purchased their homes.”
The only reason they agreed to have the school originally there because they were told it would be a boys school. They never agreed to have a girls school next to their neighborhood.
“and according to the video i saw they just stand around waiting for people to pass by so they can harrass them.”
Ridiculous -they are taking a recess from the learning in the Yeshiva.

Recess? What’s that? There’s a heter for recess from learning? Is that in the Shulchan Aruch? Mishna Brura? Aruch HaShulchan? Acharonim? Please enlighten me.
January 2, 2012 3:47 am at 3:47 am #840882HealthParticipantR.T. -You’re allowed to take breaks. Every Yeshiva in the world has something called Bein Hasedarim. If you don’t know what this means -ask a Yeshiva guy!
January 2, 2012 4:03 am at 4:03 am #840883R.T.ParticipantThank you Health. I am quite familiar with Bein HaSedarim. I saw this video. It disturbs me. Do you know why? I saw rows of men around the building, some of them smoking (which is highly questionnable by the Gedolim), some of them using cell phones (again, the Gedolim frown upon this), etc…. I didn’t see anyone saying Tehillim, or reading a paragraph of a mussar sefer, or looking over something less rigorous than Shas while ‘free time’ was taking place.
January 2, 2012 4:44 am at 4:44 am #840884HealthParticipantR.T. – Hey I’m not a Rosh Yeshiva and I don’t necessarily agree with all that goes on in Yeshivos. Take it up with them.
January 2, 2012 5:50 pm at 5:50 pm #840886Maurice85Memberguys I am truly sorry to disappoint you all here, some of you will say I am crazy!!
But lets be very honest here look again at the TV interview with the 8 year old girl telling her story, for those of you been in court as a lawyer, or if you know what court case looks like, you probably know that her evidence will not hold in court, not because she is an 8 year old because even when it comes from an 8 year old it looks fabricated and fed to her what and when to say!
I am not saying that the situation is looking good for us Jewish observers, I am not defending anyone here, these scumbags should be put on trial for all the violence they’re causing, and for all the chilul HaSHem they’ve caused they should be ashamed of them selves!!!
On the other hand now that we have come to this point where the secular media has pulled us all into it, no matter what we look like and no matter what our opinion is at this point we will all have to fight for our liberty
