hi! im wondering if im the only one that-
i can absolutely go crazy if i am eating with someone and the person has no manners. (chews loudly, mouth open, burps, slurps..etc)
i tried to get it out of my head and chill out about it, but to no avail!
i can burst out crying- is anyone out there part of my club?
or noone cares about such stuff.
please answer

I hate it when people chomp, talk with food in their mouth or with their mouths open. Seriously did no one ever teach them any manners?
EDITED
Did you ever see all these annoying seminary girls walking around like they own the place with their gum chewing. I would never even set them up on a date because of this. It makes me feel physically sick!
March 10, 2011 9:36 pm at 9:36 pm #748844MDGParticipantI agree. It annoys me terribly.
March 10, 2011 9:40 pm at 9:40 pm #748845truth be toldMemberWOWOWOWO! Wheres the tolerance?!?! Live and let live!!!!!
March 10, 2011 9:42 pm at 9:42 pm #748846always hereParticipantmost of my immediate family “Mmmm”s .. as in showing satisfaction 🙂
March 10, 2011 10:19 pm at 10:19 pm #748847MDGParticipanttbt,
Some of us find it disgusting and rude. When I want to eat, I don’t want to hear rude noises. You can’t shut your ears.
We all have our individual level of tolerance and intolerance. I have mine and you have yours.
March 10, 2011 10:45 pm at 10:45 pm #748848☕ DaasYochid ☕Participanttbt,
Why are you so intolerant of their intolerance? 🙂
March 10, 2011 10:56 pm at 10:56 pm #748849bptParticipant* Not bending towards your plate as the fork / spoon approaches your mouth
March 10, 2011 11:02 pm at 11:02 pm #748850oomisParticipantCrying??? That’s a bit over the top. But yes, you are correct, it is disgusting to watch someone eat a meal with appalling table manners. My limit is reached when I see someone chew with the mouth wide open, so all the food is visible.

Hey, I was eating supper when I read that! Now I lost my appetite! 🙂
March 11, 2011 12:35 am at 12:35 am #748852cherrybimParticipantWhat is most disgusting at a shmorg are people who use their own used fork to take food from the platter or who dunk their half eaten vegetables into the dip meant for everyone. Yuk.
March 11, 2011 12:42 am at 12:42 am #748853✡onegoal™ParticipantI don’t care what sounds I make as long as I get the food.
March 11, 2011 3:33 am at 3:33 am #748854s2021MemberI get completely creeped out when ppl make satisfied noises while eating.. as in Mmmmmm…even if its like a comment meant for the hostess…nauseous!!!!!!!

March 11, 2011 4:58 am at 4:58 am #748859GrandmasterMemberSome people may find burping to be gentle too.

It’s like that by me too (actually one other sibling also gets a little annoyed). My family calls me the quality control police anytime I tell them to eat quietly.

Eating without manners is rude. It is equally rude to tell someone else to eat quietly.
