I don’t know anything about drums. How do some musicians make that sound?
They hit a drum with a drumstick so it makes that sound

It’s most likely the bass drum they hit using a pedal. On a drumkit, that would be the big drum in the middle that usually has the logo on it.
You should probably name a piece of music containing such a drum sound
so that people can listen to it and know exactly what you mean.
