January 25, 2012 7:26 pm at 7:26 pm #857045winny1ParticipantYoyo–Thats a hard one. Probabely get many differing opinions on that. Some with religious connotations, others with psychlogical. I think you would have to find a ‘Yosef Hatzadik’ on this one.

January 25, 2012 9:26 pm at 9:26 pm #857049tzaddiqMemberthere are 3 catagories of dreams:
1) Dreams are messages from Heaven
2) Dreams are utterly meaningless
3) Dreams will follow interpretations
Of what purpose is it to dream? Perhaps it is the bastion of the capacity of the human condition to yearn and imagine new heights, to portend our capacities for achievements, for they are apparently limitless. The more one imagines, the more he tries, and nothing stands before the will of a person!
hope this helps….sorry so long 🙂

January 26, 2012 12:37 am at 12:37 am #857052skiaddictMemberThis is so intersesting. I happen to really believe in the truth of dreams, because its happened to me personally so many times, that i would dream something, and when i woke up i just knew it was a real dream, and the things really happened even though at the time(in the morning) it didnt make sense.
Also many times as im going about the day things happen, or i am in a situation, and i get this huge feeling of deja vu, like ive lived this experience through already, and i suddenly remember that i had a dream going through exactly this experience, although ive forgotten the dream, when i go through the experience i remember it.
It is definitely what my neshama picks up of my future when it goes to shamayim.

January 26, 2012 5:31 am at 5:31 am #857056Sam2ParticipantAssume it doesn’t mean anything and ignore it. If it scares you anyway, fast the next day.

When you have a dream like that they say you have to do tshuva!
Some dreams are garbage, and are based on what you filled your stomach with the night before!
Recently I had a dream that I should wait 6 weeks, not sure wht its about… It was a voice I didn’t see who said it. So I kind of feel there’s a message behind it… Can anyone shed some light??
Thanx!!

Another cousin said that she also had a similar dream the day before. Someone checked the calender and it seems it was a few days before the yurtzeit. You can be assured that people made sure to always go to the kever on her yurtzeit since then.
I know other people who have had dream that were true.
