Red Cross officials have just issued an emergency request for blood and platelet donations. If you’re medically eligible to donate blood, do it! This is SO important!!

Is it important enough to exempt me from fasting on Tisha b’Ov? as I must drink more than usual for several days before & after donating blood.

147, probably you should start increasing fluids etc the day after Tisha B’Av. But ask your LOR.
