There are no reports on YWN of a disaster or even accidents at Meron like the ones in 2021. Does that mean that all went well? If so, someone should thank the Israeli police, and responsible behavior by the attendees.

    Dear Sensible,

None of those three is from just now. Two months, three years, and twenty seven years ago.

It went well for 70+ years prior to 2020, as well.

There were several episodes over the years. Given what could have happened, it could be said that it went well.

It went well until the extremists came.

I heard from a Brelover mashpia (who used to be chabad) that Yidden have to start holding on to the strong mesorah of KUGEL and Bzchus that we will be protected.

I think there were more people by Reb Meilich in Bet Shemesh or by Satmar in Monroe. Because of the restrictions many people didn’t go. When they’re on top of it like by Reb Chaims levaya more people can go.

Other than the usual YWN news page videos of the police bashing the heads of the usual black hat crazies violating the rules and the subsequent debate in the CR here whether or not they should be called “animals” and if so, whether that term would more appropriately be applied to the crazies or the police, it was an “uneventful” Lag B’omer in Meron.
