    is there some interest?

    could be a discussion on any recent day, doesnt have to be today’s Daf.

    personally im not so interested in contributing to the discussion but would like to follow along (time limitations)

    seems like this might be a popular idea

    surprised it hasnt been suggested before (maybe because no one is interested?)

    since the Gemorrah is Kodesh, might require a little more special attention by the moderators.

    well i put it up

    would like to see it take off

    but well see.

    if it does become airborne, might even need separate threads for each Daf

    that would be nice.

    Feivel – great idea! we can either ask posters to provide a daily synopsis and have a sign up like in the D’var Torah thread or someone can volunteer to head up this thread.

    first of all yes i also learn the daf yomi for some excelent material check out http://www.dafyomi.co.il

    maybe somebody can help us with yesterdays daf.. [25] it was quite hard

    I saw an article on Rav Shmuel Berenbaum ZT”L that he apparently said, if Daf Yomi was around at the time of the yevanim, they wouldn’t have included it in the gezeiras shmad…

    jothar speaking on those lines they probably will have not assured the internet..

    it is better to learn [not do] the daf yomi than to just blog all day…

    Ames- my friend you are on your own!! Daf Yomi is not my specialty, if you want we can start another receipe thread and swap receipes!!
