May 22, 2011 7:09 pm at 7:09 pm #772847☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantThere should be an easier way
Yes, <Alt> 1 (from numeric keypad on right side). ?
May 22, 2011 7:48 pm at 7:48 pm #772848Shticky GuyParticipantHaLeiVi: Holding the Alt key while typing 1 also produces a smiley.
By the way, if typing those keys gives you a smiley, then we should have seen a smiley and not “& # 9 7 8 6 ;”
May 22, 2011 8:10 pm at 8:10 pm #772849me tooMemberI asked HaLeivi the same Q & he replied http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/how-to-type-hebrew#post-245365

May 29, 2011 9:39 pm at 9:39 pm #772862me tooMemberI was curios what ROTF stands for so I did a Google define rotf
& this is one entry on the search results page. My filter blocked the site.
Urban Dictionary:
rotf It is similar to the above. But it implies NO laughing. You are simply rolling on the floor.Whats ACGU?
May 30, 2011 1:24 am at 1:24 am #772863am yisrael chaiParticipantgoogle ACGU Acronym (???? ?????)
May 30, 2011 7:34 pm at 7:34 pm #772864me tooMemberAcronym, Definition. ACGU, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, United States So what is there to roll on the floor about(laughing or not)
Thanks AYC I hope bygones are bygone & I did apologize.

May 30, 2011 8:23 pm at 8:23 pm #772865goldenkintMember‘ich farshtay nisht kan ein vort.” hows that for vernacular. btw i thought lol was lots of love. nothing funny about that. old fogey signing off. “say goodnight, gracie”
May 31, 2011 6:07 pm at 6:07 pm #772866Shticky GuyParticipantYou’re right that ROTF stands for just Rolling On The Floor, with no laughing implied. But ROFL stands for Rolling On Floor Laughing, and ACGU is And Cant Get Up. Then there’s IMWTRSHTWO or I Mean Was That Really So Hard To Work Out and IJMTUOTS or I Just Made That Up On The Spot.
