Scheduled for Friday noon. BYOF = Bring your own food.
I’m having 2 potato knishes and a can of coke. It’s not too healthy, but then again, neither is having lunch with strangers.
Noon sharp! So far I have reservations for 6, but there will be standing room.
Can’t believe the mods let this through…
What’s the seating arrangements?
if you don’t bring food for the Moderators, I have a feeling the luncheon will be closed down.

Your Friday noon is my Shabbos dinner so I will send:
100 baked chickens
30 kilos of rice
50 liters of tehina
75 challas
and of course:
a barrel of Nemirov Currant horilka (Ukrainian vodka), complete with an OU – and a barrel of kosher Georgian wine (OK mevushal)!
i can’t stand for that long – crutches hurt. (by the way i totally got more muscle)
so i think i’ll have a milkshake and a box of cocoa puffs. IF i’m invited, that is.

oh – all that is on condition that someone bring me at least six litres of Diet Pepsi – I stopped holding by Diet Coke because of a real or imagined psak by Rav Landa shlita about Coke outside of E”Y. We have German Pepsi Max here but it is mamash like drinking antifreeze with gas.
I’ll have a chulent and a smoothie(a pareve one that is cuz the chulent has to be fleishig)! Btw squeak thanks for hosting the lunch maybe we can raise some money for the yeshiva!

I want the diet for myself – I’m not thin! Diet Dr Pepper is OK for me too and even better – that is kosher AFAIK but we have only regular here not diet.
Can The Irish Trust Fund bring some Guinness? I can bring it but the price here for it is wild even after the currency was devalued :(.

Mod…. yuck! coffee yogurt without sugar just aint coffee yogurt, I dont care what! I’ve tried em all and there aint nuthin like the real stuff. I will bring regular coffee yogurt but if you want I can bring a strainer for you to strain out the sugar 😉

Syrian- told you, have to explain things. Most people don’t know what Mechse is (any vegetable stuffed within it’s inch of it’s life with meat in rice,spiced with allspice and cinnamon, could be squash,tomato,potato, onions.. Hamid is a sweet and sour soup with veggies and meatballs traditionally served over rice. Fasulya is a bean dish made with/out meat. you forgot the Yebra(stuffed grape leaves or AKA Dolmas) I have in my freezer if anyone wants to pick it up.
