    IF the Coffee Room had an “ignore” function, where you could put posters on a personal list that you don’t see their posts, who would you add to your list?

    And if it is someone you respond to their posts, then apparently you wouldn’t add them to your list!

    Answer the first point, then think of the second point, and realize the profundity of it.

    The point being that if you find a poster annoying or nasty or whatever, you do have the option to ignore (even without a function built in for that purpose.) You don’t have to respond to a post you don’t like. And you certainly don’t have to berate a poster you don’t like.

    All 3 posters above by expressing their sarcasm are showing that they have obviously grasped the humor intended by the OP. I mean, his name just gives it away! Gabboim. He’s obviously the gabbai in a shul someplace. Are you telling me a gabbai has people on an ignore list?? No way!! Its definitely satire! 😉
