When I was growing up, many Jews still had the sensitivity to avoid buying German products. Today, with the war in Gaza, the lines between good and evil have clearly been drawn. Is there a list of which companies have chosen sides and are actively supporting Israel and those that have made a move to support evil?
November 12, 2023 9:33 pm at 9:33 pm #2238990sensibleyidParticipantThere aren’t really any cooperations that fund Gaza. They’re funded from your tax or the union that you no choice but to be a part of.
Iran doesn’t export anything besides oil and terror. I guess you could using gasoline less.
There’s no way the average consumer could have a affectNovember 12, 2023 9:46 pm at 9:46 pm #2239033Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantIran, Russia, China 🇨🇳 are hamas enablers. So, oil, Persian carpets, Russian vodka and antivirus software and everything Chinese are good candidates for boycott. Also, any company or college that cooperate with them.
November 13, 2023 8:22 am at 8:22 am #2239108commonsaychelParticipant@OP, VW, BMW, Boesch, Allianz are just a few of the more recognizable German brand names, can you list anything produced in Gaza?
November 13, 2023 12:02 pm at 12:02 pm #2239222RockyParticipantIf we would avoid buying products from countries who have oppressed the Jews we would hardly be able to buying anything….
November 13, 2023 12:03 pm at 12:03 pm #2239221RockyParticipantLet me clarify. Of course it is nearly impossible to avoid buying products made by people who don’t like us and I understand that there are probably close no products exported from Gaza. My point is that some companies have come out with clear anti-Israel/Jewish stances and some have made clear pro Israel moves. Walmart made a donation towards victims of the simchas Torah attack. Ben and Jerry’s way before October 7 made it clear that they stand with the enemy. The Chinese website Shien also made clear moves in support of the enemy. I saw a list put out by a guy in Yale who listed companies who condemned Hamas but some of those made much bolder moves to show whose side they are on. Dior dropped Bella Hadid (terrorist cheerleader) and replaced her with an Israeli model.
I don’t view Hamas as the only enemy here. They are not much different than the PA who pays the terrorists from the October 7 attack.
November 13, 2023 1:48 pm at 1:48 pm #2239257commonsaychelParticipant@Rocky, I have a great idea, since the biggest financial backer of Hamas is Qatar and you cant differentiate what country the oil is coming from, my suggestion to you is that you live off the grind and travel with a horse and buggy.
November 13, 2023 1:48 pm at 1:48 pm #2239249Sarah SParticipantI will continue my boycott of the democrat party and all representatives thereof. They are THE most major corporate sponsor of Hamas Ym”s and the rest of sonei Yisroel.

November 13, 2023 5:18 pm at 5:18 pm #2239325yechiellParticipantSarah, Sarah, Sarah – why so much hatred of the Democrats? Chill out. Isn’t Biden the Democrat sending tons and tons and tons of armaments to Israel? What more do you want? That Biden kiss Bibi? Ain’t gonna happen. But I do remember Trump saying he LOVES the North Korean dictator. You ok with that?
November 13, 2023 5:41 pm at 5:41 pm #2239363GadolhadorahParticipantSarah S: Perhaps we should boycott posters who feel it necessary to demonstrate their ignorance of reality. The current Democratic administration has been incredibly supportive of EY and has consistently blown off the small number of progressives on the left calling for a cease fire. I’m more concerned about the right wing MAGA crazies who have adopted the rhetoric of Christian nationalism and white-supremacist racists whose clear anti-Semitic tropes are no longer hidden. If you have any doubts, spend a few minutes on Gab or any of a half dozen other right wing social media sites or even the vile antisemitism now allowed on X in the name of “free-speech”. The same anti-Israel garbage (using code works for anti-antisemitism) garbage from the left is equally despicable but no longer taken down.
November 13, 2023 6:18 pm at 6:18 pm #2239367GadolhadorahParticipantThe vast majority of corporate entities that have spoken out on the October 7th massacre have been incredibly supportive of EY. Over 40 major banks and 70 law firms have signed on to letters to universities and law schools demanding action against the pro-Hamas/antisemitic demonstrations on campuses. Multinational corporations that usually remain silent on geopolitical events have found their voice in support of EY, while simultaneously expressing concerns for non-combatants in Gaza.
November 13, 2023 7:55 pm at 7:55 pm #2239397jdf007ParticipantI don’t buy oil, get a Tesla.
You’re going to say what about trucks, or this or that. That will change too.November 13, 2023 10:14 pm at 10:14 pm #2239426Always_Ask_QuestionsParticipantMaybe oil is where consumers can affect world politics. You can work all sides of it: reduce consumption- buy unfortunately Chinese solar panels or heat pumps that might be Japanese. Also, increase US production by voting R or pressing your reps, buying stock in oil and gas companies, especially lng exporters.
Organize anti government protests in Venezuela or Nigeria or any other corrupt oil producer. -
