A dozen Congressional Democrats, including Senator Bernie Sanders, are calling for the United States to cut off $3.8 billion in United States military aid for Israel if Israel goes ahead with annexation of Palestinian territories. They also demand that the United States include human rights conditions on Israel in exchange for any future aid.
In the letter to the Secretary of State they stated that Israel is becoming an apartheid state, as John Kerry warned.
1,000 alumni of J Street’s student arm, J Street U, have signed onto a separate statement urging the organization to “support legislation that would reduce American military assistance to Israel should it decide to unilaterally annex large parts of the West Bank.”
At least they aren’t proposing funding the Palestinians or Al Queda, yet. Or more likely, banning Americans from donating money to Israel, and banning American companies from selling to Israel (that will come).
May every one of these Dems become the victim of Arab terror that they love so much.
BTW, what was Nadler’s position?
