Kerry presented three options for Israel: two-state solution, one-state solution and democratic, or one-state solution and Jewish. The problem is that he, along with the rest of the world, would never accept Israel being Jewish and not democratic in a one-state solution realm. That is because to be Jewish in a one-state solution would be to either remove the Arabs, or deny them the right to vote. To Kerry, there are really only two options: two state solution or one state solution that is democratic.
