I am in the market for a (first) camcorder, and as I never owned one in the past, I am not sure what to be looking for.

If you can help with the following questions, that would be great!

    1. What is a general price range? (IE what is considered cheap/expensive)

    2. What features should I look for? (Please include specifics)

    3. If you would recommend a camcorder, what would it be?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Really, Toi? If you have nothing to say, don’t say anything at all. All I am asking is for some advice on camcorders.

Depends what you plan on doing with the camcorder.

If you just have to have one so that you can record your nieces, then go for the cheapest.

2scents: Actually to record my daughter to send to family overseas. However, I also want it to last. Do you have any specific suggestions?

It doesn’t seem like you need a fance expensive camcorder. I got mine for free using my FedEx reward points.

I cannot recomment any specific one.

What I would suggest is that you contact BH photo, or chat online with them. They will give you a few options, then you should read the reviews and see what people have to say.
