    If you have 10 people in the room and you want to do chazaras hashatz: I am pretty sure it’s a machlokes whether you need 6 or 7 people davening together while the other 4 or 3 can just join in to make a minyan, even if they’ve already davened. I couldn’t find it in the Mishnah Brura. Does anyone know where it is brought down?

    It’s Siman 79, isn’t it? Porsin Al Shma? And the Shittos range anywhere from just 1 to all 10, if I recall.

    I think it’s a machlokes, but I wasn’t looking for a psak. I just wanted to know where it was written. But thank you anyway.

    WIY: You need all 10 to have eaten. You just only need 7 who ate Hamotzi.
