Chazarah in melody an niggunim seems to be gaining popularity. I’ve never tried it but I’ve been told it helps memory etc. are there any effective ways to begin, and maintain?
Not sure what you mean. I always learn with a niggun. Everyone generally has some type of tune that they use when they learn. I make an effort to learn out loud whenever possible so developing a niggun happened pretty early on. Is this what you mean? Or do you mean a special “chazara” niggun? Please elaborate.
As long as you don’t end up singing when you’re supposed to learn (seder) and learning when you’re supposed to sing (Lecha Dodi, Keil Adon).
