Deiyez- how can someone have a favorite if they never tasted it?
It’s like asking which flavor ice cream you like best but you never ate ice cream before! Same as saying- I like strawberry ice cream because it’s a pretty color. It’s just missing the point.
Smartcookie; I’m not a litvak but I like to hear Rav Matisyahu Solomons “shemusen”. So can he be my favorite Rosh yeshiva? Yes, Is he MY rosh yeshiva? No.
Ok Deiyez- there you go. You’re a “Chassid” of Rabbi Solomon because you listen to his shmeusen a lot and you learn from him. Exactly!
But to say that you like a certain Chassidus when you haven’t even touched upon it, is silly.
