What’s the inyan of chapping shrayim by the Rebbe’s tish after the Shabbos seuda? Are there differences between different chasiduses? Is Friday night tish pretty much standard? Is the shrayim always fish? Are utensils permitted? What else is done at the tish other than singing and eating shrayim? How late does the Tish typically go on for? What other inyanim are related to this minhag?
There’s no inyan to chap. ???????? ?????? ?????. There’s an inyan to partake. I think it’s based on a Pasuk ?????? ?? ???? ?????? ???? ?? ???? ??? ????? ?????? ???? ?????. A Tzadik who is an ???? ???, has his ‘bread’ blessed, so anything left retains that blessing..?????? ???? ?????. And yes, there are differences between different communities. Some other functions at a Tish would be divrei Torah, mussar, Chassidus.
the difference between divrei torah & vhasidus is that chasidus is messages of mussar in going on the right path of righteousness towards hashem while a dvar torah is just a nice saying from a gadol on the parsha or yom tov etc…
the chapping at a rebbes tisch turns it into a chillul hashem when those that come for chizzuk see the manners of these chassidim. it also turns the rebbe & his food making it look like avoda zara to eat a peice of his shirayim
