Need some advice. You know those long waxed wicks that fit into the brass thin pipes with a bottom on them, does the wick need to stick out at the bottom in order for them to burn?. Meaning do i need to buy the glass cups with the little foot thingy on the bottom, or will they work directly in the menorah in a flat cup?
As long as those metal tubes are not tightly closed, it will work in a flat cup.
If the tubes DO appear to be tightly closed, just pry it open slightly at the bottom end (bottom 1/3) with a small screwdriver or other small tool.
