I would spring for a plan that gives you unlimited texts. Do you know how many unsolicited advertisements I get every day on my phone in the form of text msgs? If I didn’t have an unlimited plan I would be going over my amount for sure.
get one of the prepaid plans. for $30 you get 1200 minutes and 1200 text and for $40 you get unlimited of both. One very big advantage of this plan is that there are no hidden fees. you pay sales tax which is about 3 or 4 dollars but you don’t have the fees and taxes that add up to about $15 extra.
Sprint always has great deals. If you work for a company that has AT&T corporate discounts, then you can a great deal through them as well (usually 20-24%).
Verizon is the best (In my opinion) I switched to AT&T b/c all the good verizon phones need a data plan, but now that I’m with AT&T I would rather pay for it (their phones stink) (good for rollover though)
IDK, I had Verizon a few years back and reception was terrible in BP. I asked around and was told Sprint reception is better in BP. I switched to Sprint and I havent had a problem with Sprint. Maybe Verizon’s BP reception improved since. I also like that I have free calls after 7 pm, not sure if Sprint still offers it now.
My Sprint plan is up and I need a family plan for 4-5 phones, I use minimal texting. Whats good in family plans?
Just FYI Sprint is adding a $10 monthly fee to all newly activated smartphones. Currently this surcharge only applies to a handful of devices, but beginning January 30th it will apply to ALL newly activated smartphones (Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile ect)…if you plan on going with Sprint, you may want to start by the 29th
