Well, I thought I saw everything! there is a major-huge- controversy brewing in Yeshiva University. No, it is not about mundane religious matters but about an award that will be given at Cardozo Law School to that anti-semite Jimmy Carter ! Even more outrageous is the title of the award:” International man of peace” PEACE? Jimmy Carter is an out and out antisemite and would applaud the destruction of Eretz Yisroel!!!!
Shame, shame on Cardozo and by extrnsion , Yeshiva University for allowing this travesty of an award!!
April 10, 2013 4:47 pm at 4:47 pm #943769afsherParticipantUm, Cardozo honors gays with their own YU funded and officially university recognized Toeiva Club. So why all the outrage here? Show the outrage for the true abomination.

The institution as a whole (Cardozo individually and YU as an umbrella) have no say in it whatsoever. The large majority of Cardozo students are not Jewish, and certainly not Frum. In fact, so many Cardozo alumni and YC, RIETS, and even Einstein students and alumni are so incensed by this award that they plan on peacefully protesting the giving of it-by forming a human chain and blocking all entrances to the school.

Regardless of what is the intake of Cardozo school (and I doubt your figures), they are students of Yeshiva University and the university does not have to allow the giving of this award on university grounds nor does it have to accede to it.The student body is not a foreign, independent body. If this group of people wants to honor Jimmy Carter, let them do it elsewhere, not on yesshiva grounds. This is a pusillanimous letter by Richard Joel and , even more shameful, the Dean of Cardozo will attend the prize-giving. Shame-shame!
