in our trunk, we have a whole selection of different items ranging from water bottles to hair dryers.
i thought everyone was like that until today (possibly for the first time) i saw someones open trunk and there was actually a CLEAN trunk! i thought it would be interesting to hear what people have to say on car trunks.like what do you put in yours? what do you think is neccessarry in a trunk?
I don’t think it’s safe to keep water to drink in a car (especially when it’s hot.)

jump leads (why doesn’t everyone have these), de-icer, a bit of food and some plastic bags

I honestly don’t know exactly. Potato chips, jumper cables, part of a baby crib, random clothes of all sorts, soda sometimes, motor oil, de-icer, and many more things I can’t name off hand.

Shovels, rope / duct tape.
Y’know.. things I need to get the job done.

Booster seats for my carpool kids.
emergency kit–battery cables, shovel, blanket, matches, candles, flashlight, first aid kit,
seagul- wow. I keep telling myself I should put together an emergency kit for my car , but the only things I thought to put in it so far is water bottles, pretzels, and magazines. lol.
and a partridge in a pear tree……
Now that’s funny. I was reading a post thinking – “hey, that’s pretty much what I have in my trunk too” – then I noticed it was one of my kids who posted it.

A crow bar and a transponder cloner so that if cops recognize the car I am driving, or I see one I like better, I can just switch cars and drive away.
I usually have about three kilos of unmarked washing powder in my cooler as well. This way if I am searched, the cops are distracted by the washing powder, and they realize immediately it is not cocaine. Therefore, they drive away and forget all about the Grand Theft Auto arrest.
There’s actually a pair of flippers in my trunk 🙂
And the usual stuff for flats and overheats…
