Helloooooo? Isn’t there a big Hefsed Momon (money loss) to the Yeshivos if they cancel all the food,music, etc.
I think R Chaim meant only if possible , I doubt he wants Yeshivos to loose money.I didn’t hear that R’ Chaim qualified his statement in any way. It has been reported that R’ Gershon Eidelstein has issued a psak that mesibos don’t have to be cancelled but should be toned down (no music).
There are apparently places in Meah Shearim that are having their mesibos on time, including music. They were so full of joy they even danced in the street on the night of the levaya.
