I really, don’t know who this “BatMelech” is but apparently she keeps starting threads, in regards to mystical stuff. Really I think the moderators, should really think about what threads are allowed to be posted, here. It is at a point where it is getting out of hand all the threads, this “BatMelech” has been starting. I really do not think a person will get an answer about a mekubal here. If this person is going through a difficult time, please don’t encourage her, from starting these type of threads, in the first place. Unless, this person is having a dybukk or something.
So basically, I am asking, the moderators, here to please moderate, use your judgement as to what type of threads are started, especially if they are are constantly repetitive. Thank you.
Using my judgement I wondered if I should let you start this one -29

September 5, 2014 4:31 am at 4:31 am #1031600mazal77ParticipantOy, or maybe, she possibly messed around with a Ouija board, and now has some major problems with unwanted entities.

September 5, 2014 4:44 am at 4:44 am #1031602mazal77ParticipantNo, but in all seriousness, if this person has problems, then I don’t the coffee room is the place to solve them. The threads are being annoying and shall I say infuriating, but I guess, that is what trolls, want to get that sort of reaction. If only, all problems could be solved, with a wave a mekubal’s hand, then life would be so much easier. Problems, are there for us to turn to Hashem. Some people want an easy way out, without having to work on themselves.
September 5, 2014 4:44 am at 4:44 am #1031603YW Moderator-💯ModeratorMaybe I should have blocked him by sending a text.
September 5, 2014 4:45 am at 4:45 am #1031604mazal77ParticipantIf you have her number, why not??
Joke. http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/coffeeroom/topic/ending-it-after-10-dates-over-text
September 5, 2014 4:54 am at 4:54 am #1031605mazal77ParticipantGoodness, gracious, 29 I think I have better things to do with myself, then trolling, in the coffeeroom. But the all seeing eye of the Mods, can see all from my profile and IP address. Anyway, not an easy job the Mods at YWN have.
I was just asking, as all comments on the main news page, always, do have a “awaiting moderation of the comments” before they maybe actually posted, Iwas wondering if the same can be done, in regards to frivolous threads, stopped before, they even make their way into the coffee room,in the first place, to be eventually, closed anyway?
September 5, 2014 5:30 am at 5:30 am #1031606old manParticipantDear Mazal77,
Sorry for being, offtopic, but, your excessive and, inappropriate, use, of commas, is making your posts, very difficult, to read.
Other than that, I agree with your comments regarding an obssession some have with mekubalim.
September 5, 2014 5:48 am at 5:48 am #1031607☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantOld man, your excesssive usse of esssess makesss your possst not ssso eassy to underssstand.
September 5, 2014 5:54 am at 5:54 am #1031608Little FroggieMemberI think the mekubal will tell her her problem is that she runs to mekubalim.
September 5, 2014 11:37 am at 11:37 am #1031609YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorMazel- I was joking. But seriously, thought is put into the moderating and if something isn’t against Halacha or hurtful it will go through. Some comments have to be moderated due to their ‘google factor’, how they will sound taken out of context, or when too many of the responding posts are getting deleted. Just being silly or annoying doesn’t always deter me as you can choose not to open those threads. And specifically to the mekubal threads, if you look at the answers she got regarding use of mekubalim and Emunah, that was what I was hoping for when I put the first ones through.
September 5, 2014 2:18 pm at 2:18 pm #1031610SayIDidIt™ParticipantThanks for all you (and the other Mods) do!
September 5, 2014 2:44 pm at 2:44 pm #1031611YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorIt’s always a toss up. If someone opens similar threads the oilem says they should have referenced an earlier thread. If they reference an earlier thread we have people grumbling that the poster is answering to people who aren’t even around anymore. Which brings me to believe it is either a case of ” the grass is always greener” or “you can’t please everyone” but I tend to lean toward ” because I said so”
🙂
September 5, 2014 2:51 pm at 2:51 pm #1031612RandomexMemberIf they’re creating a thread virtually identical to their own thread from yesterday, or maybe even the day before,
I think we can draw the line there.
Perhaps an “old thread” should be defined by a certain amount of time having passed since anyone posted in it, or by which page of the Coffee Room one must go to to find it.
September 5, 2014 3:02 pm at 3:02 pm #1031614SayIDidIt™ParticipantNo, that’s not what I meant. Im not referring to a 11 month old /2 year old thread. I don’t think people have to search the entire CR database (especially with no real search function, sorry!) for an old thread that may deal with something. However, when a person starts 10 threads in two-three days about the same topic (see BatMelech’s profile) that is not right. Let him/her (together with his/her 2-8 other screen names) start 1 or 2 threads and that is all.
Thanks again!

If that was addressed to me, I’m sorry if it sounded like I was grumbling. But please note that I bumped that thread and then noticed people responding to old posters and nicely pointed it out.
Gotta go! Good Shabbos World!

September 5, 2014 3:47 pm at 3:47 pm #1031620Little FroggieMember29, Sometimes mods delete ANYTHING I write, just because it’s mine. No rhyme or reason, no rules broken. And it’s the long, meaningful one’s that I actually put some thought (& effort), that bother me when they get randomly deleted. For being mine.
OK, I get the hint. I shouldn’t be wasting my time here. (regretfully I’m ignoring my conscious)
September 6, 2014 8:37 pm at 8:37 pm #1031622JohnMemberHopefully the moderator won’t delete this line because there’s nothing on it. Hey, wait a second there is! Oh, this is getting too confusing, I give up.

No, I think it was in reference to me. Someone answered some people in a thread that I think was five years old, and I asked why – since the original posters were long gone.
September 7, 2014 12:38 pm at 12:38 pm #1031624YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorPerhaps it was a reference to having read both.
Either way, I was just being dramatic. There is nothing wrong with different posters having different preferences. The important thing is that I am the one with the veto power.
<evil laugh>

That is a good thing. This site will need to change its name if we didn’t have great Mods keeping it The Yeshiva World!
On that note, please heed the request of this thread and not allow numerous copy-paste threads from being started.
Thanks again!

Little Froggie, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE! We need you here! This place will stay in Av/Elul mode all year without your humor!
September 7, 2014 9:44 pm at 9:44 pm #1031628Little FroggieMemberSidi: WOW!! And thanks!
Well first of all it IS Elul (is it?). And Mods / admin are not really so fond of me hanging out or hopping all around here.
But as I wrote “regretfully I’m ignoring my conscious”.
September 8, 2014 5:59 am at 5:59 am #1031629SayIDidIt™ParticipantLF, your welcome! Yes it is Elul now but in a couple of weeks it will not be and we need froggies like you to keep this place hopping!
I don’t know what the Mods think, but I really appreciate you here! (And belive me, there are other members who drive the Mods crazy – more then you!)
To the esteem Mods Shlit”a, please don’t scare our Froggie away!
