I was wondering if anyone had information about the camp bonim mesivta program. For example how is the learning there, sports, which yeshivas are the kids coming from, as well as hashkafa etc… thank you.
June 16, 2011 3:19 am at 3:19 am #917012TweetTweetParticipantI was told the following from someone there:
The sports there is very good. They have a special league with their own teams and they play 3 activities a day. As far as the learning goes, I was told it is very good. They have at least 4 rebeim in the mesivta program and they are very good. As far as where the boys come from, generally they are from Darchei Torah and Ner Yisroel.
June 16, 2011 5:20 pm at 5:20 pm #917013HIEParticipantI will b’eh be a counselor in camp bonim this year. I hear very much positive about the mesivta program. The learning is great. They take the boys on very good trips. And the sports is also great with organized leagues.
January 3, 2012 3:48 pm at 3:48 pm #917014kollel99MemberI have only praises to say about the Camp Bonim Mesivta. Run by two amazing Rebbeim, Rabbis Berkowitz from Baltimore, and Hauer from Far Rockaway. They will turn the world over for the benefit of their talmidim. The Rebbeim are the best, Rabbis Yankel Bender, Aron Goldman, Moshe Brown, Naftali Rubin, Dovid Lan and more. The learning is serious, geared to all different levels and backgrounds. Everyone has the tools with which to grow. The activities and sports are out of this world, Lit fields and courts, heated pool, soft ice cream in the canteen and great trips. Best of all, THE PRICE IS RIGHT!!

Announcements “Rabbi Bender, pick up on 6125” Friday afternoon phone calls from home. Deer on the baseball fields. Goose poop on the quad. Rabbi Goldman motorboat. Rabbi goldgrab’s scooter. Good times.

January 2, 2013 6:34 pm at 6:34 pm #917038Anonym613ParticipantDoes anyone here have a contact name and number to apply for Camp Bonim registration?
Someone I know, who lives outside of the NY/NJ metropolitan area, wants to register her 13-year-old son for this coming summer.
Thank you.
