Sorry for calling you out this way, I didn’t have any personal info for reaching you.
I was wondering if you could help me with my son’s wedding.
I wouldn’t dream of supporting them, they will be supporting themselves, Gd willing. And I promise he won’t be entering kollel after the wedding. I was just thinking that in order for me to have sheva brachos at my house in a kavodik manner (to avoid embarassment to me or my family) I really need to have my kitchen and living room redone and am trying to collect/borrow/accrue $45 or $50K.

We once made a Simcha in our house… We had a BIG sign over the worst wall “???? ???? ????? ???? ?? ?????”, we meant it literally. (the rest of the walls were also strategically “decorated” to conceal what was not meant to be seen)

1: I thought that the Sheva Brachos is by the girl’s side?
2: Contrary to popular belief, there is no chyuv whatsoever to make a Sheva Brachos. It is only if you happen to have a seudah that fits the criterion that you make the brachos.
3: As I have posted before, your best bet for a sponsorship is to contact www(dot)gatesfoundation(dot)org.

its much cheaper then 50K to make the Sheva brachos in a Simcha hall for a few hundred dollars & order the prepared food without a caterer
