My sink filter suddenly stopped working.
The simple one with the cotton that’s placed inside.
It’s worked well till now, but suddenly it keeps clogging.
The cotton inside is barely used, and now, it seems, the water is clogging the spout under the cotton.
Does any one else have this kind of filter???
It looks almost like the water is not penetrating the pad but is going around and under the bottom of the pad.
I’m wondering if the cotton is too thick or if the quality of the water has suddenly changed.
Any input would be appreciated.
Mine too. I think it’s in the water. It’s dirtier at this season, so it clogs up faster. On Shabbos we practically had a trickle.
I’m having the same issue now! Every two days or so I need to replace the cotton and wipe the filter down because rust keeps clogging it up. Are you wiping down the inside of the filter when you replace the cotton? Right after cleaning and replacing cotton my filter is fine.
It’s just this time of year.
