My breakfast consists of a soft-boiled egg (made to perfection), a slice of multigrain bread (toasted), 2 heaping tablespoons of low-fat cottage cheese, some leftover salad or cut up veggies, and a big mug (about l6 ounces) of skim milk with about a teaspoon of gourmet roasted coffee (instant) and a drop of sugar. I have been eating this breakfast since my teens with some slight variations–I used to drink regular or lowfat milk and I used to eat rye bread with butter. I have tried eating just cereal or oatmeal and milk but the satisfaction doesn’t last long. (I actually miss my breakfast on Shabbos and Yom Tov).

Here it comes. But not as much for the 3 eggs.. But sunny side up?
At least make a cheese omlet out of them!
In for a penny, in for a pound (or 3)!

I double checked the label. There’s no corn syrup in my pb, but there is hygrogenated oil (I’ve got the Skippy brand).
Still, a guy’s gotta eat!

Since you’re such a health fanatic (avalanche continues), why don’t you use the natural peanut butter (I know, it separates, but since you’re a fanatic…)?
March 10, 2011 11:12 pm at 11:12 pm #748766always hereParticipantbpt~ actually, I omitted that I always put a couple of slices of cheese around on the whites, plus *gasp* baco-bits. occasionally I do scramble up the same ingredients…. usually when I’m making for the DH, too.

# 1, its probaly going to taste like glue
# 2, its probably going to cost $10 a jar
Ok, maybe not so fanatical after all.
“baco-bits”
Wow, I have’nt see those since my HS days. It was used with the gefilte fish (and that was also the 1st time I saw mayo used on anything other that tuna)
I used to live a life of good food. Boy, I miss those days 🙁

Ah, but you cannot escape the hydrogenated part (unless you opt for the “natural” stuff (yeah, right!)
March 11, 2011 8:26 pm at 8:26 pm #748771smartcookieMemberBPT- true, the bad fats are still there…
I recently bought a container of natural PB in Pomegranate. Tasted like pure blended peanuts, but was very bland. For some reason it nauseated me. You can have it gladly if you wanna try it;)
